Social Star Awards


The Challenge

Create a series of content with short lead times based on live, real-time data on social media metrics, as well as filming and broadcasting the Social Star Awards and two live Singapore Social concerts to a global audience.


The Response

  • Created over 100 pieces of unique content to drive engagement through Twitter and YouTube. This included: 10 chart video animations, 20 pieces of content with host, 10 short VT’s about social media trends, 10 short artist introduction videos, 20 short form event teaser videos and 20 highlight packages.
  • 3 live broadcast events via partner YouTube
  • Features from global music artists Aerosmith, PSY, Carly Rae Jepson and CeeLo Green
  • Hashtag #socialstarawards trended globally on Twitter
  • 6 million minutes of viewership were consumed in over 189 countries
