The Challenge

Engage a live audience of 80,000 through a creative opening display, as well as the successful broadcast of the event to the rest of the world.

The Response

  • Successful global broadcast to over 100 countries
  • Opening and closing ceremonies broadcasted to a UK audience of 3.5 million
  • Creation of a cinematic narrative film around the cultural history of Dubai, involving a 10 minute film taking the audience through the desert, the sea and the skies of Dubai. This involved stunning 5k footage in locations across the region, and was impressively displayed through the largest temporary projection screens in the world
