Robin Fawcett

Executive Chairman

An experienced business leader and industry professional, Robin founded Sledge in 1991, making us one of the longest-standing independent, employee owned agencies in the space.

 

He plays an integral role in overseeing our sustainability strategy and supporting initiatives that place people, planet and entrusted growth at the forefront of all that we do, ensuring ongoing advancement of the agency and our projects.

 

Robin leads by example through leveraging his highly sought after expertise to make a positive difference to the local community. He has been Chair of Age UK Hammersmith & Fulham since 2019, volunteers at the Hammersmith & Fulham Foodbank, and is Vice-Chair of the Westminster Independent Custody Visiting Panel.

Sarah Yeats

MD & Director of Strategy

Sarah is a purpose-driven agency leader that advocates for a people-first approach, by upholding Sledge’s Employee Owned Trust (EOT) model, and in doing so, fostering a company culture that empowers all employees to contribute to the future of the business, and craft their own career paths.

 

An experienced event and communications professional who has dedicated the last 23 years to her craft, Sarah has led the development of Sledge’s sustainability vision and framework. She champions impactful work by pioneering partnerships with sustainable focused organisations, and strategically guides senior leaders on the client-side to implement sustainable practices across their projects.

 

From high-profile environmental conferences to VIP dinners attended by government officials, Sarah has produced and managed award-winning experiences across sectors such as automotive, financial, government, retail, telecommunications and technology all throughout the globe.

 

A firm believer that collaboration over competition is the way forward, Sarah communicates sustainable, strategic and creative learnings and best practices with her peers via speaking at and attending events, sharing insights with the media, and judging awards.

Becca Shanks

Creative Services Director

Becca is a forward-thinking creative with a keen eye for impactful design, who applies a Best Overall Sustainable Solution (BOSS) Thinking mindset when ideating concepts for projects, ensuring they both resonate and inspire action.

 

Highly analytical and embodying an innate sense of curiosity, Becca’s creative development process involves asking the “why,” ensuring ideas are supported by a robust strategy, serve a genuine purpose, and reflect our clients’ goals. 

 

Leaning on her 15 years of industry experience, Becca oversees the creative process, brings these concepts to life with impact across both events and content, and leads our creative team.

 

Becca has pioneered purposeful partnerships with globally renowned organisations in sectors such as government, non-profit, and technology, where career highlights include developing a custom portal and bespoke messaging for the We Are Family Foundation (WAFF) Just Peace Summit, and creatively producing the FACT Dialogue plenary session at COP26.

Laura Chalcraft

Operations Director

Laura is an esteemed event producer with a strong operational background gained through living and working in both the UK and Hong Kong, where she has led local, regional and international projects including press events, product launches and internal conferences.

 

She manages Sledge’s project team, ensuring sustainability is considered at the very beginning, and that all projects are planned and delivered with respect to clients’ goals, and leave a positive impact.

 

While sustainability forms part of all employees’ roles, as our Sustainability Lead, Laura has played a pivotal role in embedding Sledge’s Sustainability Management System (SMS), which ensures sustainability best practice is integrated into our entire business.

 

Laura develops the tools and resources team members require to engage in client and supplier relations – which form part of our Operational Toolkit – and reviews and implements our sustainability objectives, ensuring all actions uphold our sustainability vision and wider sustainability strategy on an ongoing basis.

Ben Heaysman

Head of Film & Content

A technical and creative filmmaker, Ben leads our film production and content arm, interprets complex briefs, and produces bespoke solutions that bring them to life.

 

His specialism lies in crafting story-led content with a cinematic edge both on location and in studios, which raises awareness of vitally important global matters, through to branded experiences in ways that immerse and enthral audiences, and compel them to act.

 

Ben possesses the unique ability to not only develop impactful narratives, but thanks to his methodical approach, creatively bring them to life with colour, graphics, animation and music across branded content pieces, long-form documentaries, live broadcasts and social media.

 

Ben manages content that complements wider Sledge events and standalone projects, including for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and FACT Dialogue, where he has captured content onsite, developed on screen event content for COP26 and COP27, and developed bespoke animations for social media.
